Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tiger Mask (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gomer Pyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mask's entrance music is Could it be? OH MY GOD YES, IT'S TIGER!!!. A fine choice. Pyle has chosen The Marines' Hymn as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pyle throws a shot to the body.
Mask looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Mask scores with a body shot.
Pyle looks to land a combination but Mask avoids it well.
Mask misses with a low kick.
Pyle sizes up Mask with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Mask throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pyle scores with a nice strike.
Mask moves away from the strike by Pyle.
Mask takes a swing at Pyle's ribcage but misses.
Pyle throws a one two combo.
Mask slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mask fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pyle has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Pyle counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mask throws a lazy right hand but Pyle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Pyle lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mask tries to land a leg kick but Pyle saw it coming and moves away.

Pyle is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Pyle swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mask swings for the body but Pyle moves out of range.
Pyle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mask but Mask pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mask stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Pyle scores with a shot to the body.
Mask throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pyle sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pyle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mask as he jumps to the side.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mask. That's going to slow Pyle down.
Mask fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Pyle checks it well.
Mask tries a head kick but it misses.

Tiger Mask is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pyle looks to land a combination. Mask sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tiger Mask has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gomer Pyle.
Pyle is trying to maintain a safe position but Mask gets an underhook and turns Pyle into the cage.

Pyle stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Mask's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Pyle is working for takedown but Mask is calmly controlling the position for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
