Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vinny Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson instigates a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Anderson.

Jones is looking to take this one to the mat.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Nice body punch from Anderson.
Jones goes for a takedown attempt but Anderson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Anderson sprawls well. Anderson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.

Anderson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jones is trying to pull guard but Anderson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Jones drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Anderson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage.
The referee calls for Anderson to work.

Anderson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Jones wants to pass to mount but Anderson is defending the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anderson is positioning himself well to prevent Jones advancing to mount.

Anderson kicks off Jones and gets to his feet.
John Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jones.
Anderson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Anderson clinches.
Good body shot from Anderson.
Jones jumps guard but Anderson stands there with Jones around his waist. Jones gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A short right from Anderson.
Anderson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jones up against the cage.
Jones is trying to maintain a safe position but Anderson gets an underhook and turns Jones into the cage.
Anderson blocks an elbow strike.

Anderson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jones jumps guard but Anderson stands there with Jones around his waist. Jones gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jones struggles to land a body shot inside as Anderson controls his hands.
Jones is trying to pull guard but Anderson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Anderson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Jones is looking to break free of the clinch but Anderson has double underhooks.

Jones wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Anderson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jones backwards.

Anderson manages to break the clinch.

Anderson has managed to clinch.
Anderson lands a left hand.
A left hand lands to the body for Anderson.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Anderson lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Jones is rocked!
Anderson lands with a light punch inside.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A hook to the body from Anderson.
Anderson lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Anderson is pushing Jones up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Anderson lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Jones to his knees! Anderson keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
