Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Konrad Koltun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Dingdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koltun's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hans Solo - Dopoki jestem. Dingdown has chosen Baggy Trousers as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 11 - 1, fighting out of London, Konrad Koltun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ben Dingdown!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dingdown uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Dingdown takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Dingdown misses with a leg kick
and Koltun connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dingdown lands a high kick!
Koltun takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Koltun lands a nice shot to the body.

Koltun wants to slow Dingdown down by chopping away at his legs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Koltun throws a jab but it's blocked by Dingdown.
Koltun fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dingdown has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Dingdown throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Koltun sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Koltun punishes Dingdown's body with a nice straight punch.
Koltun avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dingdown swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Koltun fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dingdown looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

A slapping body kick lands there for Koltun.
Dingdown's corner calls for a 1-2. Dingdown obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Koltun clobbers Dingdown with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Koltun fails in his attempt to clinch.
Koltun looks for a takedown but Dingdown sprawls well.
Koltun lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Koltun lands with a kick to the temple. Dingdown shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Koltun lunges at Dingdown with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dingdown's hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Koltun dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dingdown. That did some damage!

Ben Dingdown is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Koltun drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Dingdown tries to sprawl but Koltun drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Dingdown's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Koltun can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dingdown is looking to escape.
Dingdown keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dingdown tries to reverse the position but Koltun maintains control.

Koltun lands a nice shot to the head.
Koltun throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Dingdown is wriggling around trying to escape.
The referee warns Dingdown that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dingdown avoids a series of strikes thrown by Koltun.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Koltun sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Dingdown takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Koltun tries to bum rush Dingdown with a series of wild strikes but Dingdown uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Koltun shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dingdown pinned against the cage. Dingdown gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dingdown fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Koltun uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dingdown.

Koltun shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Koltun was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Dingdown's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Koltun connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dingdown scrambles back to his feet.

Koltun feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dingdowns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
