Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ein Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivers has chosen Cyco Vision as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ein Stein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Stan Rivers!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stein missing with a left hand there. Rivers was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rivers looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rivers tries to close the distance and clinch but Stein swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stein looks to score with a jab to the body but Rivers is just out of range.

Rivers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Rivers keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stein.
Stein tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rivers was well out of range. Poor timing from Stein.

Stein throws a push kick but Rivers slaps the foot to one side.
Rivers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stein swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Stein moves into range and connects with a jab.
Stein does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Stein is trying to control the position but Rivers postures up.

Rivers is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Stan Rivers.
Rivers walks into a left hand.
Stein swings for the body but Rivers moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rivers throws a wild hook but Stein just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Rivers gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Stein raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ein Stein!
After winning the bout, Ein Stein thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
