The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyatt throws out a powerful jab.
Magamedov doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hyatt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Hyatt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hyatt has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Magamedov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hyatt's waist but Hyatt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Magamedov off to one side.

Magamedov seems to be working for a kimura but Hyatt defends the submission attempt.

Magamedov is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Hyatt still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Hyatt has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Hyatt is looking to stall in half guard but Magamedov is in no mood to hang around. He's locked up a Kimura from the bottom and has used it to sweep! He's held on to the kimura and is looking to finish here... will he get it... YES! Hyatt taps out and the crowd goes crazy! Great finish!
