Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Wolfen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Saunders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saunders comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fort Minor - Remember the Name kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saunders fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Saunders finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Wolfen misses with a double jab.
Wolfen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wolfen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Saunders.
Wolfen tries to bum rush Saunders with a series of wild strikes but Saunders uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wolfen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Saunders scores with a head kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wolfen closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Saunders's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Saunders lands a big head kick that sends Wolfen tumbling to the mat! Saunders takes a step backwards and waves Wolfen back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wolfen throws the kick towards the body but Saunders avoids it.

Saunders pushes Wolfen up against the cage in a clinch.
Saunders lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Saunders.
Saunders lands a damaging elbow.
Saunders creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Wolfen's defenses.
Saunders struggles to land a body shot inside as Wolfen controls his hands.

Wolfen lands a takedown into guard.

Saunders wriggles free and stands up.
Saunders bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Saunders scores with a nice head shot.

Wolfen is rocked!
Wolfen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oh Wolfen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wolfen throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Saunders closes the distance and clinches.

Wolfen gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Wolfen seems to have got his legs back now.
Wolfen has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Saunders works to full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Saunders is on top in guard.
Saunders won't allow Wolfen to get back to his feet.
Saunders wants to control from the top but Wolfen keeps moving.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Wolfen wants to sweep but no luck.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Saunders postures up.

Wolfen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Saunders doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Saunders manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Saunders wants to pass to mount but Wolfen is defending the position.

Wolfen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Saunders pulls his head out easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Saunders stops Wolfen from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Saunders dominated that round.

Wolfen shoots for a takedown but Saunders saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Saunders has taken the fight to the clinch.

Wolfen doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Saunders displaying some good clinch control by pressing Wolfen up against the cage.
Saunders blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Saunders breaks the clinch.
Saunders scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Saunders lands a nice shot that snaps Wolfen's head back.
Wolfen keeps Saunders at a distance using the push kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

It looks like John Saunders has been cut.

Saunders throws a lazy right hand but Wolfen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Saunders dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Saunders throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Saunders throws a wild body kick that Wolfen sees coming a mile off.
Saunders takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wolfen gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Saunders gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Wolfen is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

As John Saunders got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I will enjoy this epic moment for now, and I hope to continue this streak. But more challenges have come on my path... Me and my big mouth...'.
