Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russo wants to clinch up but Loko keeps it at a distance.
Loko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Russo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Russo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Russo wants it to stay on the feet.
Loko throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Russo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Russo.
Loko jumps guard but Russo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Loko is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Russo throws an elbow but Loko slips to the side and avoids it well.

Loko is looking for a sweep. Russo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Loko might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Loko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Russo tries to avoid it but Loko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Russo to the ground. Russo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Rene Russo.
Well Russo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
