The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edwards throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hoffman's waist but Hoffman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Edwards off to one side.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hoffman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hoffman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Edwards circles away quickly and effectively.

Hoffman throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Edwards stumbling backwards into the cage! Edwards bounces back off the cage towards Hoffman, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Hoffman lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Hoffman celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
