The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clayton throws a half hearted mid kick.
Matthews cracks a nice hook into Clayton's ribs.
Matthews loads up on a big right hand but Clayton slips the punch.
Clayton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Matthews throws out the jab.
Clayton moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Matthews lands a left and a right that send Clayton crashing to the mat, dazed. Matthews thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Clayton is rocked!

It looks like Charles Clayton has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Matthews misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oh Clayton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Clayton throws a looping overhand right but Matthews ducks down to avoid it.
Matthews connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Matthews closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Clayton! Matthews dives in looking to finish! Clayton is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
