The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Velko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ard somewhat.
Velko looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Velko gets caught flat footed, as Ard shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Ard chips away with some ground and pound.

Ard cracks Velko with a solid left hand.
