The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ingvar getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Ingvar lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Rutger misses with a low kick.
Rutger drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Rutger throws a quick inside leg kick.
Ingvar is looking to land body kicks.
Ingvar connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rutger. Rutger circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Ingvar misses with an uppercut.
Rutger shoots in for a takedown but Ingvar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Rutger throws a sloppy head kick and Ingvar moves out of range easily.
Ingvar doesn't manage to clinch there - Rutger circles away.
Ingvar motions for Rutger to come forward. Ingvar throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Ingvar takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Rutger ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ingvar wants to land a leg kick but Rutger is out of range.
Ingvar throws a right and a left that both miss.

Ingvar thuds a left hand into Rutger's body.
Ingvar misses with a series of wild punches.
Rutger scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rutger throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Ingvar throws a body punch but Rutger moves out of range.
Ingvar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Rutger scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Rutger postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ingvar takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Rutger is looking to take a break and control but Ingvar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ingvar on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Rutger lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ingvar down.
The strikes coming from Rutger are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rutger tries to score with some ground and pound. Ingvar controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Rutger seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ingvar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ingvar is bucking up trying to escape but Rutger cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
