Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Kalawit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jorge Kalawit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson closes the distance and pushes Kalawit back into the cage.
Kalawit wants to break free but Johnson has control.

A frustrated look appears on Johnson's face as he tries to break the clinch.

and Kalawit counters with a series of strikes. Johnson will be more careful next time no doubt.

Kalawit tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Johnson keeps the fight on the outside.
Johnson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kalawit takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Horrible takedown by Kalawit or perhaps it was just good defense by Johnson which made him look bad.
Johnson is looking to clinch but Kalawit is avoiding it.

Kalawit shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Kalawit throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kalawit off to one side.

Kalawit seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Johnson for as long as he can get away with.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kalawit is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Kalawit shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl out of it but Kalawit keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Johnson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

I would just about give that final round to Chris Johnson.
I think Johnson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
