Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Doom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huey Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman has chosen Judo Flip as his entrance music. Huey Freeman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman connects with a crisp jab.
Doom scores with a kick to the midsection.

and Doom counters with a three punch combo that has Freeman backing up. Freeman nods at Doom to acknowledge the strikes.

It looks like Huey Freeman has been cut.

Freeman sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Doom's guard.

Freeman is trying to control. Doom wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Doom seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Freeman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Doom manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Freeman has Doom in his guard.

Freeman is looking for a triangle but Doom pushes his legs off easily.

Freeman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Freeman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Doom can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Freeman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Doom's waist but Doom gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Freeman off to one side.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Freeman crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Doom - the referee stops the clock and Freeman gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Doom. Freeman manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Freeman is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Doom, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
