Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Loso drives through and clinches with Jones against the cage.

Jones pulls Loso into guard.
Jones pulls Loso in close to prevent any damage.
Jones trying to control the position.
Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Loso from controlling successfully.
Jones looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Johnson Jones has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Loso avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Loso throws a nice outside leg kick.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Jones.
Loso tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jones tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Loso tries to bench press Jones off him but Jones keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Loso takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Jones is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Loso will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones wants to stand but Loso is controlling his arm.

Loso is trying to improve his position.
Jones has control of an arm but Loso manages to advance to Jones's back!
Jones trying to control the action but Loso just sinks the hooks in.
Loso is looking to control Jones but Jones is wriggling around and keeping busy.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Loso misses with an elbow to the head.
Loso is trying to stick to Jones's back but Jones is turning into Loso. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Loso's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jones.
Jones won't allow Loso to sweep him here.

Jones lands a couple of elbows.
Jones wants to stand but Loso has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jones's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Loso has an active guard here but Jones has managed to pass into half guard.
Loso is staying active underneath Jones, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Loso tries to get to full guard but Jones has control of the leg.

Jones is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Loso is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
