The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson scores with a jab to the jaw.
Wilson throws a push kick but Nero slaps the foot to one side.

Wilson cracks Nero with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Wilson scores with a sloppy right hand. Nero should have avoided that one.

Nero on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That kick from Wilson tenderised Nero's leg. Nero is trying to keep his angry face on.
Wilson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Nero walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Nero postures up in Wilson's guard and throws a big left but Wilson blocks it.

Wilson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Nero is wriggling around trying to escape.
Nero regains half guard.

Wilson stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Nero to get to his feet.
Nero stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wilson.

Wilson lands a leg kick that knocks Nero off balance momentarily.

so Nero counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wilson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Nero throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wilson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Nero has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nero drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wilson dives on top into guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Nero uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wilson.
Wilson tries to land a front kick but Nero steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Wilson connects with a leg kick. Nero looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Nero has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Wilson.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wilson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
