Plush is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eruption. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plush fails to land with a series of punches.

Plush moves into range and clinches up with Coolidge.
Coolidge lands a right hand.
Coolidge lands a shoulder strike.
Coolidge scores with a shot to the side of Plush's head.

It looks like Tom Plush has been cut.
Coolidge stalling the fight.
Plush cracks Coolidge with a nice body shot.
Plush tries to circle away but Coolidge has him pinned against the ropes.
Plush wants to break the clinch but can't.
Plush takes a shot to the head.
Plush has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Coolidge after a bit of a struggle.
Coolidge lands with a left to the head.
Plush wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Coolidge lands a hook to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Coolidge lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Plush is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Coolidge lands an elbow just above Plush 's eye.

That has opened up Tom Plush's cut even more.

Coolidge lands on the inside with an uppercut.

The cut above Tom Plush's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Plush fails to pull guard.
Coolidge lands with a short shot to the head.
Plush blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Coolidge lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tom Plush's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
