The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Youngblood circles away from the clinch attempt.
Youngblood fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smith looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Smith looks to clinch
and Smith takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Smith walks into a jab.
Youngblood throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Smith tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Youngblood manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Smith connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Smith jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Smith defending well as Youngblood loads up on a big left hand.
Youngblood tries to land a front kick but Smith steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Smith clinches with his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Youngblood makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Smith blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Youngblood pushes Smith back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Youngblood misses with a short punch on the inside.
Youngblood scores with a hook to the body.
Smith wants to get back to striking at distance but Youngblood won't allow it.
Youngblood misses with a punch to the body.
Smith using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Youngblood has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Youngblood lands a shoulder strike.

Youngblood misses with a short punch on the inside.
Youngblood swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Youngblood blocks an uppercut.
Youngblood lands a shot to the body.
Youngblood lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Youngblood tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Smith tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Youngblood scores with a shoulder strike.
A right hook to the body lands for Youngblood.
A frustrated look appears on Smith's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Youngblood's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Smith wants to clinch
and Youngblood counters with a left to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Youngblood.
Smith walks into a left hand.

Smith is rocked!

Smith wants to clinch but Youngblood slips to the side
and Youngblood counters with an inside leg kick.
Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith is breathing heavily.
Youngblood ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Smith out cold! The fight is over!
