Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vuori throws a hook but Pettis blocks it.
Vuori wants to clinch up but Pettis keeps it at a distance.
Sloppy strikes from Vuori. Those never looked like landing.
Vuori lands a jab to the head.
Vuori shoots in looking for a takedown. Pettis tries to sprawl out of it but Vuori keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pettis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pettis uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Pettis misses with the combination.
Pettis throws a series of punches but Vuori moves out of range.
Vuori throws a nice looking combination but Pettis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vuori thows a body shot but no joy.
Vuori lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sami Vuori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pettis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pettis tries to bum rush Vuori with a series of wild strikes but Vuori uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Vuori is looking to clinch but Pettis is avoiding it.
Vuori tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pettis swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vuori throws a leg kick
and Pettis counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Vuori fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Vuori is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Some wild striking there from Pettis.
Vuori misses with a takedown attempt
and Pettis counters with a series of strikes. Vuori will be more careful next time no doubt.

Pettis throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Pettis thows a left - swing and a miss!
Vuori doesn't manage to clinch there - Pettis circles away.
Vuori seems to have recovered his senses.

Vuori darts in and clinches Pettis up against the cage.
Pettis wants to break free but Vuori has control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Pettis is trying to push Vuori away but Vuori has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Vuori has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Pettis manages to break the clinch.
Vuori gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Vuori tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Pettis is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Vuori buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Vuori!! Vuori is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Pettis throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
