Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Proudstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logen Glotka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glotka connects with a leg kick. Proudstar looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

and Proudstar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Glotka shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Proudstar throws a nice outside leg kick.

Proudstar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Proudstar drops back, looking for a kneebar! Glotka looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Glotka looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Glotka!

Glotka is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Proudstar lets go of the hold and Glotka can pop his arm back in it's socket.
