Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hazan Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gomer Pyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ali comes to the cage accompanied by Can't Hold Us. Pyle has chosen The Marines' Hymn as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ali misses with the head strike.
Pyle just leaning against Ali, taking a breather.

A nice right hand lands inside from Pyle.

Pyle misses with a short punch on the inside.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Ali.
Ali lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pyle backwards.
Pyle makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Pyle tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ali smiles and moves away.
Ali feints and then cracks Pyle's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pyle down.

Ali ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gomer Pyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Ali makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Ali uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pyle.

Pyle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ali looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Pyle isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ali stacks Pyle on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ali!

The fight stays on the outside here - Pyle looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

I would just about give that final round to Gomer Pyle.
