Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Martin Zinn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ragnor Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zinn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zinn lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
No joy there for Wilson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Zinn throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

and Zinn moves into the clinch.

Zinn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wilson falls off balance throwing a combination

and Zinn counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wilson's guard now.
Zinn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Zinn tries to free his leg and advance position but Wilson is retaining full guard.
Zinn trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Zinn stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Martin Zinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zinn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Zinn lands a jab.
Zinn connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wilson. Wilson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


Wilson is rocked!
Zinn digs a good hook to Wilson's body.

Zinn scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Wilson is still in real trouble! Can Zinn finish him?

Zinn lands a strong strike to the head of Wilson. That's dazed him! Zinn looking to finish here. Wilson is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Zinn lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

A relieved looking Martin Zinn thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
