Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eli Armis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reginald Francis Colon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armis's entrance music is Mortal Kombat Theme. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Reginald Francis Colon!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armis slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Francis Colon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Armis's head backwards.

Armis jumps guard and drags Francis Colon to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Armis is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Francis Colon is aware though and is defending well.

Armis tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Armis has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Armis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Francis Colon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Armis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Armis jumps guard but Francis Colon stands there with Armis around his waist. Armis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A nice right hand lands inside from Francis Colon.
Come on Francis Colon - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Armis pulls guard effortlessly.

Armis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Francis Colon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Armis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Francis Colon walks away with a smile on his face. Armis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Armis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Francis Colon tries to avoid it but Armis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Francis Colon to the ground. Francis Colon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.
Armis swats away the attempt to clinch by Francis Colon.
Francis Colon jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Francis Colon tries to land a front kick but Armis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Armis is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Armis takes a knee right on the jaw!
Oh Armis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Francis Colon lands an elbow that stopped Armis in his tracks for a moment.
Francis Colon has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Armis - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Francis Colon, and another! Armis is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Reginald Francis Colon! Reginald Francis Colon retains his bantamweight title!
A very excited looking Reginald Francis Colon rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
