The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Eddie Farnsworth and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tapes fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Love sprawls well initially but Tapes persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Love is concentrating on defense, preventing Tapes from advancing position.
Tapes is just content to waste time from the top position. Love takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Love is on top in guard.
Love pushing down on Tapes's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Love moves into full mount! Tapes won't be happy about that!
Tapes is desperately trying to improve his position but Love has a good base and remains in mount.
