PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kimble Cho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bittor Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xavier is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jane's Addiction- Mountain Song. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice takedown defense from Cho. No joy for Xavier on that attempt.

Xavier gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Cho is trying to maintain the position but Xavier is very close to passing his half guard.

Xavier is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Cho has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Xavier is working away from the top position though.

Cho is defending against the submission attempts here by Xavier.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Xavier looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Xavier has hold of Cho's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cho manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Xavier fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cho manages to avoid it.
Cho on the wrong end of a nice hook.
The fighters circling - Xavier throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Cho punishes Xavier's body with a nice straight punch.
Xavier shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cho as he jumps to the side.
Xavier shoots for a double leg takedown but Cho sprawls well. He's pushed Xavier's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cho, right into the meat.

Cho tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Xavier was well out of range. Poor timing from Cho.
Xavier gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cho bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Xavier's head.

The crowd cheers as Xavier lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cho doesn't seem phased though.

Cho jabs Xavier right on the nose. Xavier blinks but takes it well.

Xavier feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Xavier changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cho tries to avoid it but Xavier manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cho to the ground. Cho escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kimble Cho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bittor Xavier.

Xavier shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Cho sizes up Xavier with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

The fight stays on the outside here - Xavier looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Xavier ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cho moves away.
Cho comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kimble Cho is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Xavier tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cho swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Xavier lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cho has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cho and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Cho drives through and clinches with Xavier against the cage.
Cho stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
