The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua misses with a wild combination.
A combination from Rua does no damage.
Rua avoids the head kick by Water.
Rua misses with a head kick.
Water takes a kick to the side of the head.
Rua pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Water blocks a head kick by Rua.
Rua lands a head kick. Water smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Sid Water has been cut.
Rua goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Rua throws a leg kick but Water checks it.
Rua delivers a nice body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Water takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Water shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Jake Rua is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rua throws a left and a right that both miss

and Water counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Rua takes a knee to the side of the body.
Rua looks winded!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Water gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Jake Rua has been cut.
Rua letting Water take a breather here.

Water lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Water lands an elbow that stopped Rua in his tracks for a moment.
Water is pushing Rua up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Rua is trying to force a seperation but Water has the dominant position.

Come on Water - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Water comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Water lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Rua is rocked!

That has opened up Jake Rua's cut even more.
Water throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Rua is still on wobbly legs! Can Water finish him?
Water lands a big knee! That's hurt Rua! Oh, he's all over the place! Water lands another knee that sends Rua to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Sid Water bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
