The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Jontop.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jones.
Jones scores with a body shot.
Jontop shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
No joy there for Jontop, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jones connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Hugh Jontop has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jontop throws a shot from downtown. Jones moves away and avoids it.

and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bones Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hugh Jontop.
Jones jabs Jontop to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jones lands a really nice looking cross but Jontop seems unphased.
Jones lands a slapping body shot.
Jontop looks winded!
Jontop looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Jontop drops his hands momentarily and Jones takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Jones cracks Jontop with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Jontop looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jones finish him?

Jontop is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Jontop out cold! The fight is over!
