Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Selby Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Cragen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Cragen's choice of entrance music: Captain Cragen. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Selby Campbell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Don Cragen!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cragen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Campbell looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Campbell tries to buck Cragen off but Cragen is having none of it.
Cragen tries to stand but Campbell is controlling his head.
Cragen gets to mount! Campbell was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Campbell is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cragen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cragen throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Campbell is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Campbell drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cragen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Campbell has Cragen in his guard.

Cragen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Selby Campbell.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Campbell, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
