Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Turnbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnnie Stalker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turnbull comes to the cage accompanied by Never To Late. Stalker is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Keelhauled. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turnbull lands with a nice body punch.
Stalker throws a front kick that sends Turnbull stumbling back into the cage.
Turnbull throws a leg kick that is checked
and Stalker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Jack Turnbull has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Turnbull avoids the head kick by Stalker.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Turnbull, right into the meat.
Stalker throws a lazy body kick
and Turnbull counters with a good low kick that Stalker was not able to check.

Stalker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Turnbull to score with a decent uppercut.
Stalker tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Turnbull is able to avoid easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stalker. Turnbull does a little dance to reset his feet.
Turnbull walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Stalker checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

No luck for Turnbull with that takedown attempt.
Stalker connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Turnbull's hands.

Stalker misses with a low kick.

and Turnbull counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Stalker's guard now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Stalker counters with a slapping leg kick.

Both fighters circling a little - Turnbull finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Turnbull chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stalker can pounce on him.
Turnbull attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Stalker wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Turnbull uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stalker.
Turnbull shoots in and bounces Stalker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Stalker has his foot on Turnbull's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Turnbull works his way back into a safe position though.

Turnbull tightens his grip and picks Stalker up, before dumping him to the ground. Stalker manages to land in guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Turnbull wants to pass the guard but Stalker is keeping the position.
