Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duke Gibbons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hjalmar Klason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klason is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by (Hed) Pe - Raise Hell. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibbons lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Hjalmar Klason has been cut.
Klason scores with a jab. Gibbons acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Klason stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Klason connects with a right hand. Gibbons shakes it off.
Klason throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gibbons's waist but Gibbons gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Klason off to one side.

Klason is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gibbons had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Hjalmar Klason opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
