The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nothing slips under a jab from Law.
Nothing takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nothing throws a hook but Law blocks it.
Law lands a front kick.

Law shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Law trying to move into half guard but instead Nothing has managed to sweep!
Nothing is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Law keeping full guard, as Nothing tries to pass.
Nothing works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Nothing wants to pass the guard but Law is defending well.

Law looks like he's trying to stand up.

Law is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Law is looking to improve his position but Nothing isn't that keen on the idea.

Law is squirming around, avoiding Nothing's attempts to control the action.

Law is trying to stand up.
Nothing controlling from the full mount.
Nothing tries to control but Law wriggling away.
Law tries to control Nothing's body but Nothing pushes him off. Law squirms to his side and now Nothing has his back!

Nothing controlling well, preventing Law from escaping the position.
Law has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Law breaks Nothing's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Law throws a big elbow that misses.
Law trying to control but Nothing is working from the bottom.

Law connects with a crisp jab.
Nothing shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Nothing misses with the combination.
Law tries a head kick but it misses.
Law changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Nothing is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Law scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Law wants to control but Nothing is keeping him busy.
Spike Law overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Law wants to take a breather but Nothing manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Law.
Law wants to control from the top but Nothing keeps moving.
Nothing is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Law postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Law trying to control the position from guard on top but Nothing is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Spike Law has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Law paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Law steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nothing.
A combination from Law does no damage.
Nothing missing with a left hand there. Law was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Nothing blocks a head kick by Law.
Law tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nothing was well out of range. Poor timing from Law.
Law lands a jab-cross combination.
Law cracks Nothing with an open hand slap.
Nothing takes a kick to the side of the head.

and Law counters with a left to the body.

Nothing takes a head kick and shrugs it off.


Nothing is rocked!
Spike Law seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Law tests Nothing's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Nothing is still on wobbly legs! Can Law finish him?
Nothing gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nothing is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nothing seems to have recovered his senses.

Law fails to land with a series of punches.
Spike Law is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Law ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Nothing manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Law manages to get himself to full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Law is on top in guard.
Law trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Nothing keeping moving, preventing Law from controlling successfully.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Nothing holds on and takes a little breather.
Law is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Law shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Law showed some decent athleticism there.

Nothing wants to control from the top but Law keeps moving.

Law escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nothing gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Spike Law showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Law has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
