Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kim Young Il (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ballard Magnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Il comes to the cage accompanied by RATM - Renegades of Funk. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Kim Young Il!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ballard Magnar!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Il lands with a good body shot.
Kim Young Il seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Il feints and as Magnar raises his hands in defense, Il changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Il working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Magnar's head.
Il stays in close to Magnar's body and controls the position.
Magnar utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Il stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Magnar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Il is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ballard Magnar was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Il fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Magnar avoids it really well and circles away.

Il feints and then cracks Magnar's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Magnar down.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Il.

Magnar takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Il lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Magnar has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Magnar and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Il throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Magnar's waist but Magnar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Il off to one side.

Il throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Magnar tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Il is in Magnar's guard.

Magnar is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Magnar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Il lands a nice looking kick to the body. Magnar takes a step back to recover.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Magnar crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Il - the referee stops the clock and Magnar gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Il. Magnar manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
