The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atsushi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mazzarri but Mazzarri pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Mazzarri shoots in looking for a takedown. Atsushi tries to sprawl out of it but Mazzarri keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Atsushi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Atsushi cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Mazzarri is wriggling around trying to escape.

Atsushi is looking to take a break and control but Mazzarri is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
