The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez keeps the fight on the outside.

Apple instigates a clinch.
Rodriguez prevents a body shot from Apple.
Apple can't find room to land a body shot as Rodriguez controls the action.

Rodriguez gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Rodriguez stands up and waves to Apple to follow him.
Rodriguez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Apple closes the distance looking to clinch

and Rodriguez counters by moving into the clinch.

Rodriguez pulls guard successfully.
