And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kenny Gomi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gein looks to land a body kick but Gomi moved away.

Gomi looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Gomi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Gein looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gomi is one step ahead there.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Gein pulls Gomi in close to prevent any damage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Gein lands a big head kick that sends Gomi tumbling to the mat! Gein takes a step backwards and waves Gomi back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gein throws a hook to the side of Gomi's head but Gomi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Nice straight punches there by Gomi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gomi.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gomi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Gomi postures up and lands a big shot to Gein's brow.

That was a close round but I would say that Ed Gein will probably get the nod.

The fight stays on the outside here - Gomi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gomi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gein as he jumps to the side.

Gein thows a body kick. Gomi tries to catch it but that hurt him.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Gein is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gomi is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close second round but I would say that Ed Gein will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Gein throws a body punch but Gomi moves out of range.
Ed Gein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Gein counters with a head kick that drops Gomi to the mat! Gomi scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
