Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Butch Shorette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Clemons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shorette comes to the cage accompanied by No New Friends. The key to victory for Butch Shorette has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shorette lands the left hand.
Jab, jab by Shorette - just one landing.
Shorette works Clemons's body with a nice hook.
Butch Shorette seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shorette lands a nice shot that snaps Clemons's head back.
Shorette scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Clemons fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shorette avoids it really well and circles away.
Shorette darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Clemons throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shorette.

Shorette is looking to wear down Clemons with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Clemons is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Shorette moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Butch Shorette!
Butch Shorette spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
