Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Berrao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berrao comes to the cage accompanied by Common Knowledge - by Asher Roth. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Miguel Berrao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyson Jacobs!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berrao throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jacobs.
Berrao checks a low kick from Jacobs.
A thudding body kick lands there by Jacobs!
Berrao misses with an uppercut.
Jacobs feints and then cracks Berrao's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Berrao down.
Jacobs steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Berrao.
Berrao throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jacobs sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Berrao misses with a takedown
and Jacobs counters with a body kick.
Berrao misses with a double jab.
A jab from Jacobs does it's job there.

It looks like Miguel Berrao has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A slow jab from Berrao misses its intended target.
Jacobs motions for Berrao to come forward. Jacobs throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Berrao looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Berrao tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Berrao gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jacobs throws a leg kick which misses Berrao's front leg but catches the back leg as Berrao tries to avoid it.
Berrao shoots in looking for a takedown. Jacobs tries to sprawl out of it but Berrao keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jacobs manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miguel Berrao. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Berrao is breathing heavily.

Berrao shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jacobs drops Berrao with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Berrao looks back up at him and smiles so Jacobs waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Berrao is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Look low, kick high! Jacobs uses the oldest trick in the book to send Berrao tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Jacobs is absolutely delighted - when Berrao wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
