Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tomi Atomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Madrigal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atomi comes to the cage accompanied by Spookshow Baby. Madrigal comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lil Jon-Throw it Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atomi takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Madrigal takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Atomi looks to land a left hand but Madrigal moved out of range nicely.
Atomi moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Some bone on bone action there as Madrigal checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Madrigal looks to throw the jab but Atomi is out of range.
Atomi throws a head kick that misses.
Atomi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Madrigal gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Madrigal fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Atomi takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Madrigal misses with a straight right.
Madrigal just misses with a punch to the body.
Atomi throws a low kick but it's checked well by Madrigal.
Madrigal looks to land a left hand but Atomi moved out of range nicely.
Atomi uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Madrigal has time to react.

Madrigal checks the leg kick nicely there.
Madrigal shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Atomi but Atomi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Atomi lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Atomi dips to his left and cracks Madrigal with an uppercut!
Atomi slips a jab from Madrigal.
Atomi throws a front kick aimed at Madrigal's knee but Madrigal avoids it well.
Atomi misses with a low kick.
Madrigal blocks a low kick nicely.
Madrigal throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tomi Atomi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Atomi tries to sprawl but Madrigal drives through with a takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Madrigal working Atomi over with strikes.
Atomi has hold of Madrigal's hands but Madrigal slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Atomi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Madrigal's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Madrigal's back!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Madrigal tries to break free.
Atomi is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Madrigal. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

Madrigal tries to roll but Atomi sticks to his back.

Atomi doesn't have the hooks in and Madrigal manages to turn into his guard.

Madrigal stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Atomi has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Madrigal manages to get his head free but now Atomi has transitioned to an armbar! Madrigal grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Atomi! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
