Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Small (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drake comes to the cage accompanied by Blitzkrieg Bop. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nick Drake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pat Small!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Small connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A left and a right from Small both land. Nice combination.
Small throws a good cross that connects.

Drake is rocked!
Drake avoids a punch combination nicely.

Small darts in and clinches Drake up against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Drake.
Small pushes Drake back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Small lands a hook to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Drake blocks an uppercut.

Drake prevents a body shot from Small.
Drake is struggling to control the position.
Small tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Small has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Small breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

A low kick from Small is predictable there
and Drake connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Drake bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Drake on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Small walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Drake checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Small connects with a nice looking jab.

Small rushes Drake and presses him up against the cage.
Small lands with a light punch inside.
Small has a couple of punches blocked by Drake.
Small tries to circle away but Drake has him pinned against the cage.
Small stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Small tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Small tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Drake avoids it.
Drake blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Small is trying to force a seperation but Drake has the dominant position.
The referee is keeping an eye on Drake - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Drake prevents a body shot from Small.
Small tries to break free but Drake pushes him back against the cage.

Small breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Small misses with a hook.
Small connects with a body shot that sends Drake's belly button to the back.
Small lands a body shot.
Nice uppercut there from Small.
Small ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Drake moves away.

Small clinches.
Small pushes Drake back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A frustrated look appears on Small's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Small as Drake tries to tie him up.

Drake blocks an elbow strike from Small.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nice shot lands for Small.
Drake takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Drake tries to move into range but Small moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Small throws a sloppy head kick and Drake moves out of range easily.
Small wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Small scores with a sloppy right hand. Drake should have avoided that one.
Small chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Drake takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Small looks to throw the jab but Drake is out of range.
Small misses with a straight left.

Small throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Small shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Drake takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Small misses with a two punch combination.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Small, as that shot connected.
Drake takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Drake checks a leg kick nicely.
Small lands with a shot to the body.

Small moves into the clinch.

Small swings wildly with an uppercut but Drake uses good head movement to avoid it.
Small tries to throw a body punch but Drake avoids it by throwing Small back against the cage.

Small breaks from the clinch.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Small, as that shot connected.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Small lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Small throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Small lands a lovely overhand right.
Small with a jab.
Small throws a jab but it's blocked by Drake.
Small throws a hook but Drake avoids it easily.

A telegraphed right hand from Small misses the target.
Small connects with a jab.
Small swings widly with a right hand
and Drake makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A clash of legs there as Drake blocks the low kick.
Small lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Small bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Drake's head.
Small drops Drake with a straight right hand, right on the button! Small follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
