Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Doom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nammer Da Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doom comes into the arena with Rise Of The Warriors blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Hammer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Doom sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Da Hammer lands with a thumping leg kick.

Da Hammer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jacob Doom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nammer Da Hammer.

Doom gets caught flat footed, as Da Hammer shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Doom is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Da Hammer keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Doom's head.
Doom wants to stand and escape but Da Hammer is having none of it.

Da Hammer is working for a submission of some sort.
Da Hammer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Doom regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Da Hammer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Doom is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Da Hammer tries to control but Doom wriggling away.
Da Hammer lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Da Hammer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Da Hammer postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Doom looks a forlorn figure.

Doom is rocked!
A big strike lands for Da Hammer! That's really hurt Doom and he's turned his back - Da Hammer keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Da Hammer jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
