Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tito Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Krum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santana comes to the cage accompanied by Slim Thug - Welcome 2 Houston . Krum has chosen Viktor Krum will rock you as his entrance music. Viktor Krum has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tito Santana's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tito Santana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Viktor Krum!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santana throws an overhand right that lands on Krum's shoulder, as Krum tries to avoid the shot.
Krum cracks Santana with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Santana tries for a takedown but Krum sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A shot to the body from Santana misses
and Santana takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Santana changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Krum looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Santana is looking to take a break and control but Krum is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Krum is looking to regain half guard here but Santana keeps moving and retains side control.
Krum is not content to let Santana control the position.

You can see the frustration on Krum's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Santana wants to pass the guard but Krum is defending well.

That's time! Santana's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Santana rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Krum moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Santana closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Santana lands in his opponent's guard.

Krum can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Santana is looking to escape.

Tito Santana overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Krum trying to control but Santana is having none of it.
Santana is in all sorts of trouble here.
Krum throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Santana because Krum loaded up on that one.
Santana tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Krum wants to control the pace but Santana is squirming around nicely.

Santana tries to hold on but Krum postures up.
Santana is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Santana is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Krum throws some wild stikes that Santana manages to avoid easily.
Santana tries to reverse the position but Krum maintains control.
Krum takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Santana wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Krum.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tito Santana will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Santana stops Krum from passing to mount.
Krum wants to lay and pray for a moment but Santana keeps working.
Santana looks to move to half guard but instead Krum has passed into mount! Damn!
Krum trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Poor strikes thrown by Krum there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Viktor Krum has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Krum wants to control but Santana is keeping him busy.
Santana tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Krum has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Krum misses with a head shot.
Santana can't escape the position.

Krum seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Santana does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Krum looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Santana tries to get to full guard but Krum has control of the leg.

Krum passes to full mount!
Santana is wriggling around trying to escape.
Krum throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Krum looking to land elbow strikes but Santana uses the position to regain half guard.
Santana is refusing to be controlled, as Krum sits in half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Viktor Krum.
I think Santana has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
