PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keijo Kerjalainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karim Chamakh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kerjalainen comes to the cage accompanied by krolithika. Chamakh has chosen Robyn - Indestructible as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Keijo Kerjalainen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Karim Chamakh!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerjalainen tries a head kick but it misses.

Kerjalainen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Chamakh drives through with a takedown into Kerjalainen's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Chamakh makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kerjalainen fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Chamakh checks it well.
Kerjalainen connects with a leg kick. Chamakh looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kerjalainen lands a nice hook to Chamakh's body. Chamakh takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kerjalainen paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kerjalainen leaves Chamakh with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kerjalainen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chamakh was well out of range. Poor timing from Kerjalainen.

Kerjalainen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Chamakhs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
