Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Valentin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdullah Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slice is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Last Resort-Papa Roach. Ricardo Valentin looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Valentin looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Slice lands a strong strike to the head of Valentin. That's dazed him! Slice looking to finish here. Valentin is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Slice lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Abdullah Slice was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
