Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Digital (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Descharme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Digital comes to the cage accompanied by Wu-Tang Clan - Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nuthing Ta F'Wit . On his way into the cage it seems that Bobby Digital has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bobby Digital seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Descharme connects with a solid leg kick.
Digital dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Digital tries to score with a low kick but Descharme moves his leg out of the way.

Descharme's jab looks to have found its range, popping Digital under the eye.
Descharme throws a front kick aimed at Digital's knee but Digital avoids it well.
Digital takes a swing at Descharme's ribcage but misses.
Descharme throws the left hand but Digital avoids the punch easily.
Descharme cracks Digital with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Descharme attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Descharme throws a head kick that Digital semi-blocks.

Jean Descharme seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Digital throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Descharme stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Descharme throws a body punch but Digital moves out of range.
Descharme shoots in for a double leg but Digital sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Digital lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Digital.

It looks like Jean Descharme has been cut.

Descharme shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Digital thows a left - swing and a miss!
A looping hook to the body misses from Digital. Descharme does a little dance to reset his feet.
Digital connects with a looping right hand.

Digital gets a clinch.
Descharme is trying to drag Digital to the mat but Digital just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Digital pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bobby Digital is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Digital swings away with a leg kick that misses.
A combination from Digital does no damage.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Digital.
Descharme throws a shot from downtown. Digital moves away and avoids it.
Digital tries to clinch but Descharme is having none of it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Digital darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Descharme just misses with a punch to the body.
Descharme avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Digital tries to land a front kick but Descharme steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Descharme throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Digital was covering up waiting for the punch and Descharme finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Descharme missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Digital pulls Descharme in to control the position.
Descharme slips nicely into half guard.
Descharme with the ground and pound but Digital uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Descharme drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Digital manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Descharme has Digital in his guard.

Descharme looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Descharme wants to sweep here but Digital controlling him for the moment.
Digital controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Digital trying to control the position from guard on top but Descharme is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Descharme has his foot on Digital's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Digital works his way back into a safe position though.
Digital postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Digital postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Digital passes Descharme's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Descharme is trying to get back to full guard.

Descharme throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Digital.
Descharme looks to score with a jab to the body but Digital is just out of range.

Descharme swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Descharme takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Descharme thumps Digital with a low kick.

Descharme throws out a powerful jab.
Digital sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Digital cracks Descharme with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Descharme looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Digital finish him?

Descharme is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Digital closes the distance and pushes Descharme back into the cage.
Descharme is still on wobbly legs! Can Digital finish him?
Digital creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Descharme with a big uppercut! Descharme tries to clinch up but Digital pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Descharme to the mat! Descharme covers up and Digital unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
