Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jan Jasper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Engle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Engle has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Jasper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryan Engle!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jasper wants to clinch
and Engle counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jasper looks to clinch
and Jasper takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jasper tries to close the distance and clinch up but Engle swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jasper doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Engle looks for a takedown but Jasper sprawls well.
Jasper darts in trying to clinch
and Engle counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Engle works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Jasper wants to get back to his feet.

Engle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jasper is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Engle controlling from side mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jasper bucks up and tries to throw Engle off but instead Engle has got his back!
Engle trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Jasper doesn't escape.
Engle lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Engle.
Jasper holding both Engle 's hands and preventing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jasper is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Engle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ryan Engle wasn't active enough on the ground.
Jasper tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Engle counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jasper fails with an attempt to clinch.
Some wild striking there from Engle.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jasper on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Jasper needs to keep his hands up - Engle had a free shot at his head there.
Engle shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jasper has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jasper there as he acknowledges the shot.
Engle stalks Jasper and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jasper's face. Jasper staggers backwards, shaken.
Jasper is rocked!
Engle circles away from the clinch attempt
and Engle counters with a big slam. Jasper looks out but Engle is landing strikes to his unconscious opponent! Eventually the ref steps in to save Jasper from any more punishment. A brutal conclusion to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Ryan Engle!
