PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Allen LeFleur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knut Ludvigsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ludvigsen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Grevling I Taket. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Allen LeFleur!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Knut Ludvigsen!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeFleur throws a big shot that misses.
Ludvigsen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by LeFleur.
Ludvigsen is looking to score with low kicks.
Ludvigsen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from LeFleur.
Ludvigsen scores with a shot to the body.
LeFleur throws a big shot that misses.
Ludvigsen throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ludvigsen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
LeFleur works the jab nicely.


It looks like Knut Ludvigsen has been cut.
LeFleur moves out of range of the body kick from Ludvigsen.
Ludvigsen avoids the body shot from LeFleur.
LeFleur throws a looping overhand right but Ludvigsen ducks down to avoid it.
Ludvigsen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ludvigsen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ludvigsen is pressing down on LeFleur's thigh, looking to free his foot. LeFleur is holding on for now.
LeFleur is looking for a sweep. Ludvigsen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
LeFleur has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ludvigsen is working away from the top position though.
Ludvigsen works his way into side control.
LeFleur is trying to control Ludvigsen's posture but Ludvigsen avoids it.
Ludvigsen postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ludvigsen working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ludvigsen tries to score with some ground and pound. LeFleur controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Ludvigsen tries to move to mount but LeFleur blocks the move with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
LeFleur manages to get back to half guard.
Ludvigsen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
LeFleur has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ludvigsen is working away from the top position though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
LeFleur tries to roll over but Ludvigsen keeps him under control.
Ludvigsen thows a huge punch but LeFleur dodges it nicely.
LeFleur tries to get to full guard but Ludvigsen has control of the leg.

Ludvigsen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Ludvigsen seems to be working for a kimura but LeFleur defends the submission attempt.
Ludvigsen wants to pass to mount but LeFleur is defending the position.
Ludvigsen wants to control but LeFleur is keeping him busy.
Ludvigsen sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. LeFleur defending well though.
Ludvigsen looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
LeFleur makes his way to full guard. A much better position for LeFleur.
Ludvigsen tries to free his leg and advance position but LeFleur is retaining full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ludvigsen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Ludvigsen throws a big elbow that misses.
LeFleur avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ludvigsen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
LeFleur has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
LeFleur lands a nice hook to Ludvigsen's body. Ludvigsen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Knut Ludvigsen will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Knut Ludvigsen's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


LeFleur connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
LeFleur swings for the body but Ludvigsen moves out of range.
Ludvigsen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from LeFleur.
LeFleur throws a front kick aimed at Ludvigsen's knee but Ludvigsen avoids it well.
LeFleur changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
LeFleur circles away from the clinch attempt.
LeFleur displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.


Ludvigsen is rocked!
LeFleur scores with a shot to the body.
Ludvigsen is still on wobbly legs! Can LeFleur finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
LeFleur throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ludvigsen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ludvigsen takes a body punch but keeps moving.
LeFleur fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Ludvigsen out cold! Brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Allen LeFleur!
A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Allen LeFleur made sure he mentioned Ace of Spades Clothing, along with how happy he was to win his fight.
