The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li throws a head kick that half lands.
Skargholm keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Skargholm closes the distance and clinches up with Li, looking for a takedown. Skargholm pushes Li against the cage but Li circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Li misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Li lands with a kick to the ribs.
Li throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Skargholm with a poor takedown
and Li counters with a low kick, right behind Skargholm 's knee.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Skargholm tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Li manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Li lands a big knee! That's hurt Skargholm! Oh, he's all over the place! Li lands another knee that sends Skargholm to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
