Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Fjeldsted (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lima comes to the cage accompanied by DMX - Ain't no sunshine. Fjeldsted has chosen How Deep Is Your Love as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fjeldsted misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lima.
Fjeldsted throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fjeldsted dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fjeldsted lands a nice looking body shot.
Fjeldsted feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lima's calf.
Fjeldsted throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fjeldsted throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Douglas Lima has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lima chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fjeldsted can pounce on him.
Fjeldsted is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Lima rather than just go for the knockout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fjeldsted tries to land a front kick but Lima steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Fjeldsted walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lima checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Fjeldsted thows a body kick. Lima tries to catch it but that hurt him.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fjeldsted clobbers Lima with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Fjeldsted connects with a leg kick. Lima looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Fjeldsted throws a right hand that Lima ducks under and follows up with a left that Lima also avoids with ease.

Fjeldsted thuds his shin into the meat of Lima's side.

Lima needs to keep his hands up - Fjeldsted had a free shot at his head there.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Lima might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Fjeldsted throws a hook to the side of Lima's head but Lima sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Ivan Fjeldsted is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fjeldsted misses with a kick to the body.
Fjeldsted dips to his left and cracks Lima with an uppercut!
Fjeldsted tries to bum rush Lima with a series of wild strikes but Lima uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fjeldsted scoring well with a low kick there.
Lima avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Fjeldsted has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Lima takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Nice straight punches there by Fjeldsted. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fjeldsted.

Lima is rocked!
Lima drops his hands momentarily. Fjeldsted doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Lima staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Lima doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

A relieved looking Ivan Fjeldsted thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
