Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petr Jakovlev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jakovlev comes to the cage accompanied by Devour. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Petr Jakovlev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stevie Gonzales!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jakovlev displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Jakovlev shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gonzales defends it nicely.

Jakovlev throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gonzales's waist but Gonzales gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jakovlev off to one side.

That was a close second round but I would say that Petr Jakovlev will probably get the nod.
