Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charles Stryker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Staller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stryker comes to the cage accompanied by Die Motherfucker Die by Dope. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stryker feints and as Staller raises his hands in defense, Stryker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Staller has his hands on Stryker's head, controlling the position.
Stryker slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Staller wants to stand and escape but Stryker is having none of it.

Staller working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Stryker has passed into half guard!
Staller is refusing to be controlled, as Stryker sits in half guard.

Staller looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Well, if Stryker is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Staller is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Stryker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Staller is pressing down on Stryker's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Stryker postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Staller looks a forlorn figure.

Staller tries to reverse the position but Stryker maintains control.
Staller is in a horrible position here. Stryker smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Stryker avoids the attempt from Staller to control.
Staller manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Stryker is controlling the pace.

Staller wants to improve his position but Stryker is controlling well.
Staller keeps control of the position for the meantime.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stryker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Staller with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Stryker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Staller.
Stryker looks to score with a jab to the body but Staller is just out of range.

Staller misses with a takedown attempt - Stryker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Staller feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stryker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Staller has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Stryker is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Staller.
