Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Milo Papi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Redmond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Papi comes to the cage accompanied by IZ ON. Milo Papi could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nathan Redmond's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Papi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Papi tries for a takedown but Redmond circles away easily
and Redmond counters with a series of strikes. Papi will be more careful next time no doubt.
Redmond tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Papi swivels and escapes.
Papi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Redmond tries to close the distance and clinch up but Papi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Redmond's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Papi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Redmond scrambles back to his feet.
Papi lands a nice hook to Redmond's body. Redmond takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

It looks like Nathan Redmond has been cut.

Redmond throws a shot from downtown. Papi moves away and avoids it.

Papi is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Redmond can't fight it off and eventually Papi manages to take the fight to the floor. Redmond looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Papi's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Papi arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Redmond's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Milo Papi!
